British Music group NSG drops their awaited beautiful project titled “AREA BOYZ“. NSG (Nigeria Slash), an East London six-piece band

Their spiritually informed Afroswing, straight from a Hackney estate, brings joy to everyday life. The group, which included representatives from two of West Africa's superpowers, dubbed themselves “diasporic vibe controllers” on 2020's Roots. NSG continue to perplex the culture for this, their eagerly anticipated debut album in its proper form. On the album's title, group member Papi Abz says, “As much as it's an insult [in Nigeria] to be called one [an area boyl, yes, you'll very much see us in our area, representing. “This was one of the few points on which we could genuinely agree, and it was brought about by someone [on social media platform X] trying to make fun of us. We're going to redefine what it means to be a local boy. You may find a treasure on every poor council estate because we are diamonds in the mud.”

This expansive debut has strong performances from all six members and top-notch production from JAE5, Diztortion, and Supa Dups.
