The Dancehall and Afrobeat sensation who snagged his third award on Sunday, June 27, emerged the winner for the category of the Best International Act at the BET Awards 2021.
Other top international acts in the category include Aya Nakamura (France), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Emicida (Brazil), Headie One (UK), Wizkid (Nigeria), Young T & Bugsey (UK), Youssoupha (France). Burna Boy showed off his award plaque and bragged noted how the recent win makes it three consecutive times he’s won BET Awards for Best International Act as he did in 2019 and 2020. “Three p, it’s my third one, back to back, you get me, no games man. Love you BET man, no stopping,’‘ he said.
