Kevin Darnell Hart, better known as Kevin Hart (July 6, 1979) was born in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. He studied at George Washington High School, then attended Temple University for two years, without completing his studies. He started working as a shoe salesman, although this job did not please him. As a result of this he ventured into the world of comedy, little by little he was getting contacts until he found a job as a full-time comedian. Over time, his expertise increased. He won a small role in the television series produced by Judd Apatow, called Undeclared. The following year, he made his debut in the cinema, in a film related to urban crime in the best style of comedy called Paper Soldiers.
2011 is the year of records for him: with “Hart's Laugh At My Pain comedy tour”, the success is such that he is at the top of the ranking for the number of best-selling tickets on Ticketmaster. Also in 2011, in the space of two evenings, he beat the record set by Eddie Murphy for the number of admissions to the Nokia Theater . From success to success, it was during the summer of 2012 that he began the international tour of “Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain”, which he played in MORE than 100 American cities, then in European and African cities.
Note that these two tours (“Hart's Laugh At My Pain” and “Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain”) were the subject of a documentary. The first in 2011, which grossed $8 million at the box office for broadcast on only 300 screens throughout the United States, makes it one of the best independent films of the year. As for the second show, director Tim Story and director Leslie Small followed and filmed it throughout its tour, a release date is not up to date.
Kevin Hart is also active on the small screen, whether in series ( The big House where he was also executive producer and screenwriter, Babershop, Party Down , Kröd Mändoon and The Flaming Sword of Fire and Modern Family ), or as as a guest set on BET's classic stand-up comedy series Comic Viex: One Mic Stand , Live with Kelly , The Wendy Williams Show , OWN's The Rosie Show , The Steve Harvey Morning Show , Sirius' The Foxxhole and others.
Over time, the actor acquired more and more important roles in the cinema: for example finding Robert De Niro in Match Retour (2014). He was also propelled to the forefront by director Tim Story – with whom he had already collaborated on the lucrative Think Like a Man – for the buddy movie Put to the Test which was also a big success at the box office . His recognized talent and growing notoriety earned him a leading role in the romantic comedy About Last Night .
In 2016, Kevin Hart formed a tasty duo with Dwayne Johnson in Almost Secret Agents , then reunited with the ex-wrestler for Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle , its sequel Jumanji Next Level and the animated film Krypto and the Super-Animals . In parallel with this lucrative collaboration, the actor is responsible for the comedies Back to School and A Dad Out of Pair . At the same time, he tasted a darker register with the police mini-series La Réalité en face , in which he plays a successful comedian whose life turns upside down.

Stand-Up Stardom, Albums and Tours
Hart's comedy has been compared to the four “Kings of Comedy,” incorporating elements of Steve Harvey, Cedric the Entertainer, D.L. Hughley and Bernie Mac.
As Hart's stand-up career began to take off, ABC handed the young comic his own sitcom, The Big House. Hart played himself on the show, a successful young man who is forced to leave his home in Hawaii and move in with some distant relatives in Philadelphia after getting ensnared in an embezzlement scheme. The outlandish storyline never caught on with audiences, however, and the show was canceled after just six episodes.
‘I’m a Little Grown Man,’ ‘Seriously Funny’
Hart rebounded quickly. In 2006 he released his first stand-up album, I'm a Little Grown Man, which further cemented his status as one of comedy's best young performers. His second album, Seriously Funny, released four years later, proved to be even bigger.
‘Laugh at My Pain,’ ‘Let Me Explain,’ ‘What Now?’
However, it was 2011's Laugh at My Pain tour, later turned into a concert documentary, that turned Hart into a full-fledged star. As the title suggests, Hart delved deep into his own personal history for material, from his mother's death from cancer to the strange behavior of his relatives. His recurring line, “All right, all right, all right,” quickly became a favorite catchphrase among audiences. In all, Laugh at My Pain encompassed 90 cities and grossed $15 million, making it one of the year's most successful comedy tours.
Continuing on his success of Laugh at My Pain, Hart also released film versions of his stand-up shows Let Me Explain (2013) and What Now? (2016).
Car Accident
Early in the morning of September 1, 2019, Hart was involved in a car accident in Calabasas, California. According to reports, the comedian was a passenger in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda when the driver, Jared Black, lost control on the notoriously treacherous Mulholland Highway, sending the car off the road and down an embankment. Both were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment, with Hart requiring emergency back surgery.
The comedian appeared in public for the first time since the accident in late October when he was spotted at a Beverly Hills restaurant with Jay-Z and other friends. The following week he posted an Instagram video of his rehabilitation exercises, which included reflections on how his perspective on life had changed.
